The trailer for the upcoming Cats film dropped on Thursday (July 18), and boy, did the Internet have a lot to say about it.

The clip shows cat-ified Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson, James Corden, Jason Derulo, Rebel Wilson, Francesca Hayward, Judi Dench, Idris Elba in digital fur among the dark streets of London.

The Twittersphere burst into hilarity just minutes after release--it's already trending on the platform--commenting on everything from the CGI to feline Taylor Swift and the creepiness for those who are generally irked by cats in real life.

While it was tough to narrow down, see some of the funniest reactions below. Cats is out in December.

as we enter the cats craze, please remember to not hate your friendly locals for not liking the trailer, it’s not a strike against taylor swift necessarily, and 3d fur technology may be a hard concept for some to swallow

folks, if you think the Cats trailer is a nightmare, you probably shouldn't look up what the actual musical is like

The CATS trailer clearly loves itself and doesn’t give a fuck if you’re on its wavelength. Weirdly, it’s very much like a real cat.
