Team Players: How the AEG-Frontier Touring Deal Came Together

By Billboard

Miranda Lambert won't release her new single “It All Comes Out In the Wash” until next Thursday (July 18), but she’s giving fans an early listen with a new edition of #GlamJam. In a short snippet posted to Instagram on Thursday (July 11), Lambert picked up an old rotary phone and sang the feel-good chorus to her new song while backed by her glam squad.

"It'll all come out/ All come out in the wash/ It'll all come out/ All come out in the wash," Lambert sings on the song’s chorus. Meanwhile, her team is shown in the background holding curling irons and makeup brushes as microphones while they sing along.

Lambert penned the track with Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna and Liz Rose, three songwriters best known as the Love Junkies. “It All Comes Out In the Wash” marks the first set of new music from Lambert since 2016’s double album The Weight of These Wings. At June’s CMA Fest in Nashville she debuted another new song called “Locomotive,” which she told Billboard she couldn’t wait to play.

“I am so proud of this,” she told Billboard backstage ahead of her performance. “This is a song that I felt like it's perfect to perform at CMA Fest in the stadium. I haven't sung here in awhile. It just has this fire to it and I feel like it's kind of speaking, 'I'm back.’"

While there is no release date set yet for her forthcoming project, she hinted that more new music is on the way. “I'm just going to put as many songs out there as I can and hope some fly,” she added.
