Hipgnosis' Latest Catalog Acquisition Includes Hits for Beyoncé, Usher & Mariah Carey

Paulina Rubio’s music career spans over three decades. She began as part of the ‘80s musical group Timbiriche before launching her solo career in 1992 with her debut album La Chica Dorada. Since then, the Mexican singer has been everything but unstoppable, balancing her music career, motherhood, and starring on the television shows La Voz Mexico, La Voz Kids, and The X Factor.

On Monday (June 17), which marks her 48th birthday, Rubio announced that she will embark her #DeseoTour2019 in the U.S. in September.

In celebration of her trajectory and birthday, Billboard Latin revisits some of her best collaborations to date. From joining Coti and Julieta Venegas in"Nada Fue un Error" to dropping "Desire (Me Tienes Loquita)" with Nacho, check them out below.


“Nada Fue un Error” - Coti ft. Julieta Venegas, Paulina Rubio

In 2002, Argentine singer-songwriter recruited Julieta Venegas and Paulina Rubio to sing “Nada Fue Un Error,” a Latin pop tune that was all the rage in the early ‘00s.

“Nena” - Miguel Bosé ft. Paulina Rubio

In 2006, Miguel Bosé re-recorded his ‘80s hit “Nena” with Paulina Rubio, forming part of his album Papito. Their version was nominated for record of the year at the 2007 Latin Grammys.

“Golpes en el Corazón” - Los Tigres del Norte ft. Paulina Rubio

Rubio also joined Los Tigres del Norte during their 2011 MTV Unplugged special to drop a new version of their 1995 hit “Golpes en el Corazón.”

“Me Voy” - Paulina Rubio ft. Espinoza Paz

In 2012, Paulina Rubio and Espinoza Paz fused their musical genres to give life to “Me Voy,” a Latin pop song that intertwines the essence of Regional Mexican music.

“Mi Nuevo Vicio” - Paulina Rubio ft. Morat

Rubio later teamed up with Colombian group Morat in 2015 to drop an infectious Latin pop/rock tune called “Mi Nuevo Vicio.”

“Si Te Vas (Version Reggaeton)” - Paulina Rubio ft. Alexis & Fido

Rubio joined forces with Puerto Rican duo Alexis & Fido and launched a reggaeton version the same day she released her 2016 track “Si Te Vas.”

“Desire (Me Tienes Loquita)” - Paulina Rubio, Nacho

Continuing to dip her toes in urban waters in 2018, Paulina released “Desire (Me Tienes Loquita)” in collaboration with Venezuelan urban singer Nacho.
