Following her split with RCA Records in February,Tinashe felt inspired to return with some new music on Tuesday. After "bopping around" to Drake and Chris Brown's latest banger since its release, the 26-year-old's creative juices got going as she put her own twist on "No Guidance."

"Tell me why you out here messin’ with these lame hoes, they ain’t bringing nothing to the table/ You and me was meant to be, yeah/ I know you'd say it so/ Baby you know, you got it, babe, you got it," she softly warbles on the second verse.

The remix's arrival seems like it's more of a one-off occurence, rather than Tinashe preparing us for a wave of new music coming later in 2019. "I made this #noGuidance remix last night cuz I was bopping to the song all day and thought it would be fun," the Joyride artist wrote when announcing the track.
