Classixx Share Live Version of 'Love Me No More,' Talk New Music: Exclusive

By Billboard

On Wednesday (May 22), Disney dropped the soundtrack for the upcoming live-action adaptation of Aladdin, just days ahead of the movie's theatrical release on Friday.

The new soundtrack features a total of 37 songs, which includes new renditions of classics like "Arabian Nights," "One Jump Ahead," "A Whole New World," "Prince Ali" and "Friend Like Me."

All of the classic songs receive updates in this release; for example, Will Smith and DJ Khaled teamed up to add some hip-hop flavor to Robin Williams' original "Friend Like Me." "Let me see you flex on 'em/ Shine on 'em/ Style on 'em/ Slide on 'em," Khaled and Smith sing together on the track, echoing each other's verses.

Additionally, Zhavia Ward and ZAYN collaborated to bring an imaginative rendition to "A Whole New World (End Title)," where both showcase their vocal range in the arrangement.

Aladdin releases in theaters Friday.
