"Paris I’m so sorry. This is so sad"

A disastrous fire broke out at Paris’ Notre Dame Cathedral on Monday (April 15). The massive masterpiece in the center of Paris was engulfed in flames for hours, with many people watching the cathedral burn in real time as firefighters rushed to save the cathedral's work of arts. The heartbreaking news drew responses from all over the world on social media.

Several celebrities took to Twitter to voice their sympathies, including Patti Smith, Camila Cabello and Ellie Goulding.
