Caly Bevier Is a Romantic Realist on 'Hate U Sometimes'

By Billboard

Just months after two documentaries surrounding the disastrous Fyre Festival aired on Netflix and Hulu, Manhattan’s US Attorney’s Office will auction the fest's official merchandise with proceeds going towards the victims that were scammed from the event, according to Vulture.

The money will help pay the $26 million debt left by organizer Billy McFarland, who is currently serving a six-year prison sentence for multiple counts of wire fraud and bank fraud.

“We have an assortment of the ‘real thing’ Fyre Festival-branded tee-shirts, sweatpants, sweatshirts, hats, wristbands and medallions,” a spokesman for the United States Marshals Service’s Manhattan office told Vulture. “We know that there is tremendous interest in these items in the NY metro area in particular.”

Information as to when the auction will take place and the exact items for sale has yet to be released.
